An English Hot-house Cucumber
I get these updates from Babycenter about how big Baby boy is, and each week they equate his length to some sort of fruit or vegetable. This gets old fast and then funny. This week he is as big as an English hot-house cucumber...whatever that is; apparently it is around 14in long. The real reason for this post is that I finally decided for sure on a name for Baby boy. It won't be George...(not that that was an option), but I guess babies may feel a little bit like Daffy Duck when they are newly greeted by their excited parents, siblings, and extended fam.

Yes for some reason I didn't see this--guess it posted it in a weird way when you first did it.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel good to have a name picked?!! That is definitely a well thought out name!! :o)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hanging out with you in a few days!
So that means that Mom will call him Walden! :-) Just kidding, mom... Or am I?
ReplyDeleteJust lovely. If only little Alden knew what a wonderful and fun-filled family was waiting for him, he'd probably come early. Best not to tell him just yet.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I used to laugh and laugh at the strange things the pregnancy calendar used to compare Andrew to, size-wise. I don't recall English hot-house cucumber, however. That's a real winner!
